Pakistan

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) that is also referred to as Intermediate is a popular examination that is administered to students of the Higher Secondary school or Intermediate college (Junior college) in Pakistan. When they've completed Matriculation grade 9 and 10 they then go into intermediate college and complete their 11th and 12. After they have completed both in the 2 grades they are required to take exams that are standardized for the subjects they are studying. The tests are given in the provincial schools and at the local level as well as by the FBISE at the federal level. After passing the exams students receive the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This stage of education is also known as FSc/FA/ICS. There are a variety of streams for students to choose for their 11 or 12th grade , which includes pre-medical engineering as well as humanities (or social sciences) and computer science and commerce. Each stream includes three electives in addition to three mandatory subjects such as English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).

Nepal

National Examination Board (Nepal) is the body responsible for the administration of all exams for senior schools.
